Carnivorous plant tours

We offer package tours to locations of pitcher plants in the Philippines. You can see N. ventricosa, N. alata and Drosera peltata in their wild habitats close to the rice terraces deep in the mountainous northern Philippines, or N. sibuyanensis, N. argentii and Utricularia striatula on the mountaineous, Jurassic Park-like, forest covered Sibuyan island. The even more adventurous ones might want to visit N. truncata, N. mindanaoensis, N. mirabilis, N. bellii and N. merrilliana in northeastern Mindanao, or even try to find some new species on the island of Mindoro or Palawan or search for other carnivorous plants like Sundew or Utricularia. Or how about combining the location of N. ventricosa combined with the visit of the very active volcano Mt. Mayon?

On all packages you will be fetched from and returned to the international airport of Davao, Cebu or Manila. Your expert guide will be always with you, we are working with satellite positioning, eletronic satellite and topographic maps, 3.5 G Internet and mobile phones connected to our head quarters to make your vacation a pleasant and well organized one.

Our tours usually facilitate public transportation, which is not always as comfortable (many buses have 5 seats per row...) and clean as you might be used to. On the other hand this is a great chance to get closer to the land and people and to save some money. However, if desired, you can upgrade to a private vehicle, no problem, just let us know.

The Philippines also offers some of the finest beaches, coral reefs and volcanoes in the world. Your package can surely include a visit to some famous spots. !
